A road construction worker fell into a 16 foot deep manhole on Interstate drive earlier today. Cumberland County Fire Department, Crossville Fire Department and Cumberland County EMS were called in to make the rescue.  The worker was rescued and rushed by air to an area trauma center. Interstate Driver was closed during rescue operation.
