WOMAN BOOKED INTO CUMBERLAND CO JAIL CLAIMS SHE WAS RAPED IN ROANE CO JAIL
An investigation by the Roane County Sheriff’s Office determined that the female inmate who alleged she was raped in the jail wasn’t telling the truth.
Allison Renee Pinson, 40, was booked into the Roane County Jail last month. She had warrants in both Roane and Cumberland counties.
After serving her time in Roane County, Pinson was released to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office on Aug. 8. On Aug. 10, she told the staff at the Cumberland County Jail that she was raped by other inmates when she was in the Roane County Jail.
Roane County Sheriff Internal Affairs Division said Numerous hours of jail video was also viewed during the investigation and, after a thorough investigation, they determined Pinson was never touched – by anyone.
