As most already know, Cumberland County Director of Schools Donald Andrew has resigned.  The Board of Education is now charged with finding a new DOS.  There are six ‘internal’ applicants from within the Cumberland County School System who are up for interviews at the end of the month.  The BOE decided to interview the local applicants first and, if they couldn’t settle on one, move on to ‘external’ applicants from outside Cumberland County.  We thought it would be a good idea to see if the residents of the county had a preference from among the local applicants or should the Board search outside the county.
