“Appearing as a string of bright lights in the sky, Starlink trains can look rather ‘otherwordly’ and have prompted numerous UFO-sighting reports when they first took to the skies,” space.com states. There are 4,198 Starlink satellites in orbit, of which 3,542 are operational as of May 31, 2023.

If what you saw was a row of lights, or the lights were all in one line, moving in unison, odds are you saw the satellite array called Starlink, which is operated by SpaceX. You can see what it looks like in the video player BY CLICKING HERE

There’s an easy way to find out if you saw Starlink. A website called findstarlink.com lets you plug in your zip code to see when the satellite array was recently visible – and it lets you look up times when it will be visible.

What does Starlink do?

The Starlink satellite array offers broadband internet access to countries around the world.
