Local weatherman Steve Norris is the proud owner of a new wheel chair accessable van.  Steve has been in a fund raising mode for some time in an effort get a newer van after his current, much older van, began falling apart. Steve started a gofundme account online and raised over $13,000 in two months.  He also recieved several thousand dollars from a fund set up at a local bank along with other private donations from several states.  Steve finally reached the $20,000 plus and purchased his van today.  “I can’t tell you how very happy I am finally getting the van I’ve needed for so long. I am so grateful to the hundreds of people who pitched in and helped with the fund raiser, you are amazing – thank you so much”.
