Unusually warm and humid conditions ahead of the system will set the stage for some thunderstorms to be strong or even severe from Wednesday into Wednesday night. The most likely time for strong to severe thunderstorms will be Wednesday evening as a cold front moves across the mid state. However… strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible anytime on Wednesday and Wednesday night. Damaging winds… large hail… and a few tornadoes are all threats with this system.
