On March 20, 2023 City Police spoke with an employee of a local Construction company. He stated that he began email and phone correspondence with a male who identified himself as “John Michael”  and was interested in purchasing two generators. The employee stated that the male purchased two generators on two different dates and had them shipped to an address, 6461 North Sweetwater Road Lithia Springs, Ga 30122. The employee then stated he received a letter in the mail that the owner of the cards that had been used had reported the cards stolen and had disputed the charges.

The generators had already been shipped by the time that they were informed of the cards being reported stolen. The total items of the generators is approximately $14,369.56. It is not known at this time if John Michael is the real name of the individual who purchased the generators with the stolen cards.
