‘VIOLENT AND DANGEROUS’ JUVENILES ESCAPE PUTNAM CO DETENTION FACILITY

14494656_1555303877828394_6917153265826869272_n14470561_1555303881161727_727055952408382898_nThe Putnam County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating to violent juvenile offenders. Both subjects were being held in the Putnam County Juvenile Detention facility when they over powered a Corrections Deputy at 8:40pm Friday night. The two subjects restrained the deputy with force and were able to handcuff him to a fixed object in the facility. The subjects then robbed the deputy of his personal property including the keys to his personal vehicle. The two subjects immediately fled the building and entered the deputy’s personal vehicle and fled in an unknown direction. Both subjects were wearing County issued orange attire when they fled.
Subject Robbie Syverson is 5’8″ tall and 16 years of age.
Subject Jonathan Smith is 15 years of age and from Smith County.
They fled in an unknown direction and were driving a stolen Grey 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck.
Both subjects are considered violent and dangerous. Anyone having information to their location should dial 911 immediately.
