Nearly 100 people showed up for a community search of former White County basketball coach Roy Whited Tuesday.

The search included volunteers, deputies, EMS and TWRA.  Sheriff Page said a lot of ground was covered in the search but they did not find Mr. Whited.  The Sheriff said they did not know of any other places to look for the former coach. Page said the search was confined to that specific area because the last time Whited was seen he was caught on video pulling into his residence on Lovejoy Road. Mr. Whited’s vehicle is still at his house.

The Sheriff believes that someone must have pick Mr. Whited up from his home at some point.  He’s been missing since May 3rd.  If anyone knows the whereabouts of Mr. Whited please call the White County Sheriffs Department or 1-800-TBI-FIND.
