UPDATE: CHARGES FILED IN FIRE ENGINE VS CAR CRASH
CNF has learned that a Crossville woman has been charged with DUI in the crash we reported Wednesday night. A Crossville Fire Department pumper truck was heading to a call of smoke at the Dairy Queen. The pumper, with lights and siren running, was passing through the intersection of West Avenue and Fourth Street when a Honda Accord traveling north on West Avenue ran in front the fire engine resulting in the crash.
The driver of the car, 29-year-old Donielle Roysden, was taken to CMC with injuries and was later charged with driving under the influence.
