TWO MEN DRESSED AS WOMEN ATTEMPT SCAM AT WAL-MART, STEALS COTTON

According to reports, two black males were eventually arrested in Cookeville for a theft from Crossville Wal-Mart.  The pair was in the Crossville Wal-Mart shopping in the sewing department.  Oh, did we forget to mention the two men were dressed as women?  Yes, dressed as women, the two approached the check-out counter and asked the clerk to put some money on a gift card.  The clerk swiped the card and punched in the amount at which point one of the men/women slipped the gift card to the other and both left the store with a roll of quilting batting without paying.  Crossville Police were later contacted by the Cookeville Wal-Mart, where security personnel had apprehended both men, identified as 47-year-old Meemi Katwell Iverson-Irby and 32-year-old Christopher Dior Offomd.  On the surface it appeared the suspects thought they had gotten away with a loaded gift card.  However, no money was actually added to the gift card since the transaction is completed only after the clerk is given the cash for the card which never happened.
