Greeneville Police are investigating after two infants were found dead in a home.

According to a press release, 911 received a call at 7:48 am Wednesday about a 13-month-old child in distress at a house on North Hardin Street.

The Greeneville Fire Department found the infant was unresponsive when they arrived. They also discovered a second baby, a 2-month-old, unresponsive in the same home.

Both infants were taken to a hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Investigators are working to determine what killed the children. No names have been released.
