TUESDAY ACCIDENT SHUTS DOWN I-40, SIX PEOPLE INJURED – ONE AIRLIFTED

Interstate 40 was shut down yesterday in both directions when an SUV with six occupants ran off the highway and flipped.  The accident, between marker 320 and 317, sent one passenger, a 31 year old man from Pennsylvania, to Erlanger Medical center by Lifestar.  The other five passengers, including a 5-month-old child, were taken to CMC with non-life threatening injuries.
