According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, an inmate was released after pretending to be a different inmate.

22-year-old Travis Hux was in jail on aggravated burglary charges when deputies say he altered another inmate’s ID card.

According to a report Hux tore the picture of Donnie Bridges off of that card and placed it onto his.

Bridges was set to be released on August 1st, instead Hux was the one released.

This isn’t the first time Hux has tried to escape from jail.

Friends and family close to Bridges are upset by the mix up. No word if Hux was recaptured.
