THREE MEN ARRESTED FOR SELLING DRUGS LACED WITH FENTANYL

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Three men were arrested in downtown Nashville Friday night for selling substances that tested positive for fentanyl.

Metro police say, Anthony Tiller, 37, Phillip Palmer, 63, and Di’Nerio Morton, 18, were all arrested as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation in downtown Nashville.

Metro police say an undercover detective saw Tiller behind the Schermerhorn Center. Tiller proceeded to sell the detective six pills that he claimed were ecstasy; the pills tested positive for both ecstasy and fentanyl. Officers also took a plastic bag containing eight additional pills from Tiller when he was arrested.

Another undercover detective approached Palmer behind the Schermerhorn Center near 3rd Avenue South. Palmer reportedly told the detective he could get him cocaine and led him to the pedestrian bridge between 2nd and 3rd Avenue South. Palmer then sold the detective two white rocks that tested positive for both cocaine and fentanyl, according to police.

A third undercover detective encountered Morton, on Broadway near 4th Avenue South. Morton said he could get the detective cocaine, left, and met up with the detective a short time later on 4th Avenue South. Morton sold the detective a baggie that had a white powder inside of it. The powder tested positive for both cocaine and fentanyl. Morton was also caught carrying a nine-millimeter pistol that had been reported stolen in Williamson County, police say. FULL STORY HERE
