THREE CHILDREN SPOTTED RIDING “ON TOP” OF MINIVAN, MOTHER ARRESTED FOR DUI
As a Cumberland County Deputy was patrolling Eastland Road in the extreme western part of the county, he noticed something a little strange. A mini-van traveling down the road with the rear doors open and three children riding on ‘top’ of the vehicle. The deputy stopped the vehicle and found the driver, 31-year-old Krystle Erion of Cookeville, was apparently drunk. Erion failed a sobriety test and was arrested, charged with reckless endangerment and DUI. Erion admitted to having a couple of shots of tequila not long before she was stopped. A fourth child, an infant, was also in the van with the woman.
