The Tennessee Highway Patrol needs the public’s help in locating a blue Chevrolet S10 pickup truck and its driver that ran down a 15-year-old teen in front of his parents on Plateau Rd yesterday afternoon. According to sources, the driver of a Blue Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck struck a 15-year-old boy as he was helping his father open a gate at a home located in the 3700 block of Plateau Rd. around 4 PM. According to the report, the boy ended up some 100 feet from the point of impact. He was airlifted by Lifestar to UT Medical Center for treatment of back and leg injuries. His condition has not been released, however he was coherent at the scene.
