According to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Saturday night around 9:30. a Crossville City Police Department vehicle traveling north on US 127 near the intersection of Genesis Road was traveling in the left lane but changed lanes to the right lane due to a vehicle stopped in the left lane.

A 36-year-old pedestrian crossed the highway from the west shoulder with no crosswalk, and was struck by the Police vehicle.

According to the report, the pedestrian was injured.

Names of both parties have been withheld for investigation purposes.  In all other THP reports the names of the parties involved is listed.  However, no names were released in this report for unknown reasons.
