One of the most popular shows on TV these days is “The Voice”.  Talent from all over the country vie for a chance to compete on the show but there are only so many cities The Voice travels to for auditions.  This year Summer Open Call Auditions will be held in Oklahoma City, Detroit, New York and Los Angeles. However, if an artist can’t make the Open Call Audition, they can submit a video audition DVD.  Star Recording Studio in Crossville has announced a new program that gets local talent a professional video produced complete with professional coaching, directing, account set-up and DVD to submit to The Voice.  “It’s one thing to make a video, it’s another to make the video look and sound professional” said Trent Drake, director of video production and marketing. Drake said “you can be the best sounding and most talented person in the world but if your audition video is amateurish it takes away from your performance and these auditions are too important not to make the best impression possible”.  The audition video package includes two songs by the artist singing to tracks or accompaniment and a segment featuring the artist telling ‘their story’.  Star Recording will be scheduling ‘The Voice Audition video’ production for the first round from May 1st until May 30th.  If you would like to audition for The Voice with a professionally produced video, call 931-200-6266
