TENNESSEE STATE TROOPER SAVES WOMAN TRAPPED IN BURNING CAR (Video)

MAURY COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper is being called a hero for risking his life to save a woman trapped inside a burning car.

Trooper Zac Newton was driving along the Highway 43 Bypass, just north of Summertown in Maury County Tuesday afternoon when he spotted a wrecked car on fire.

He rushed over to the car and realized the female driver could not get out because all of the doors were jammed from the impact of the crash.

Trooper Newton pulled out his baton and smashed in the rear passenger’s side window to pull the woman to safety. Watch WKRN’s story below.
