TENNESSEE SAYS ‘NOPE’ TO GO-TOPLESS-DAY COMING UP SUNDAY

We have heard of all kinds of days before, but this one is a new one. We just had national waffle day, and guacamole day is next month.

Have you ever heard of go topless day though? Apparently it’s this Sunday for many cities across the USA and around the world.  But not in Tennessee.  Nudity is against the law in the Volunteer State and is a class B misdemeanor carrying a $500.00 fine.  Some Tennessee cities are planning ‘virtual topless’ parades with women using pasties instead of going entirely topless.

According the to gotopless.org web page:

We are a U.S.-based organization founded in 2007 by spiritual leader Rael and we claim that women have the same constitutional right that men have to go bare-chested in public.

“As long as men are allowed to be topless in public, women should have the same constitutional right. Or else, men should have to wear something to hide their chests” Rael, founder of GoTopless.org and spiritual leader of the Raelian Movement (rael.org)
