Firefighters are still working to put out hot spots at Village Court apartment complex 10th St & Park Drive. 10 units were lost but thankfully no injuries. Several of our Firefighters have been treated for heat issues. I’m very appreciative that after contacting Red Cross, they are sending a disaster team here right now from Murfreesboro and will make sure all the residents have food and lodging tonight. Also, thanks to the many citizens coming by offering help. Please continue to keep the residents that have lost their homes and our fire and emergency personnel in your prayers! We have the BEST Fire, Police and Emergency workers!
