This is one theft that could have back fired…literally.  105.7 NEWS reports Crossville Police arrested a suspect identified as 48-year-old Joel Barry who had been suspected of stealing gas by drilling holes in gas tanks in down town. Barry told officers he had no idea what they were talking about. however officers found an electric drill which smelled like gasoline, a drill bit the size of holes made in gas tanks along with several gas jugs in the bed of Barry’s truck.  He was taken to jail.
