Once again the prognosticators are speaking that four-letter word – snow.  From all the info we can gather, there seems to be a pretty good chance we’ll see some of the white stuff – but how much – nobody knows.  As we know, snow accumulation amounts are about as easy to predict as the next winning lottery numbers. We do know this. It’s going to get very cold during the rain.  The best chance for any snow accumulation is going to be from Tuesday evening through Wednesday morning when the precip mixes with the cold air.  Most predictors are saying an inch to two inches for the Plateau by the time it’s all done Wednesday.  So count on a dusting of snow to maybe an inch at least.  Yes, there are going to be some slick spots on the roads during this event – so be careful driving and leave early for work.
