An awesome game Friday night, one of the coldest nights of the season,  as the Stone Memorial Panthers finish an amazing season in the second round of the TSSAA State Playoffs.  The Panthers went into the game at 11-0 but were defeated in a hard fought game by the East Hamilton Hurricanes 28 to 16.  East Hamilton took an early 14 point lead that didn’t last long.  The Panthers tied the score early in the second half. Then the Hurricanes scored on a long run late in the 3rd quarter to get the lead back  and finally scored again to win the game.  Two weeks ago SMHS won the regular season game over the Hurricanes 14 to 7.   Tonight was the first and only loss of the season for the Stone Panthers.  The Panthers wrapped up an amazing season this year and should be proud of their accomplishment.
