The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating an accident which took place in South Harriman Monday night around 6:30 PM. Authorities say that a 6-year-old female was struck by a vehicle travelling on Old Valley Rd. in the Emory Gap community. EMS stabilized the child and she was immediately airlifted to UT Medical Center via Lifestar. Her condition has not been released.
