BREAKING: SIX-MONTH-OLD LITTLE BOY DIES IN HOT CAR.

It happened late this afternoon in Monterey, TN.

 the child was found unconscious in a car parked in the Monterey Public Library lot.

EMTs quickly arrived on the scene, but the child did not survive.

With the afternoon temperatures outside approaching the 80s, the internal temperature of the car easily could have topped 100 degrees.

It is believed the child may have been left there for hours.

Detectives are on the scene investigating and questioning those in the care of the little boy.
