A shooting incident that began on the U.S. Naval Recruiting on Lee Highway ended at the U.S. Naval Reserve Center on Amincola Highway Thursday morning.

A Chattanooga police officer was shot according to Chattanooga Mayor Any Berke.

There may be other victims.

Channel 3 has confirmed that there is has also been a shooting at Bradley Square Mall in Cleveland. It’s not known is it is related to the Chattanooga shooting incident.

Berke left a news conference early when he received the news of the shooting.

Police have set up a command post near the scene.

Chattanooga State’s campus, which is nearby, has been locked down as a safety precaution. It is considered to be an active shooter situation.

Erlanger is also locked down, with multiple police and ambulances outside the emergency room.

There’s currently no word on the condition of those involved.
