Police are on the scene of a shooting at the Clinton Walmart.

The Clinton Police Chief Rick Scarbrough confirmed a person has been shot in the parking lot.  That person was killed.

Police Chief Scarbrough said they have secured the scene. He also confirmed that one suspect is in custody and being interviewed at the police station.

No officers were involved in the shooting.

The Walmart is still open.

Walmart employees are saying the shooting happened over road rage, but we’re working to get that confirmed.

Anderson County High School was on lock down, but they aren’t anymore.
