* until 330 PM CDT

* at 243 PM CDT…National Weather Service meteorologists detected a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. These severe storms extended from 12 miles north of Gruetli-Laager to Signal Mountain…and were moving northeast at 50 mph.

* Locations impacted include… Spencer…Fall Creek Falls State Park…Doyle…Virgin Falls State Natural Area and Indian Rock Lake.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this line of severe thunderstorms. Move indoors immediately! If you can hear thunder…you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 PM Tuesday evening for central Tennessee.
