SECOND MAJOR DRUG BUST THIS WEEK, NARCOTICS – CASH – $15,000 IN STOLEN PROPERTY SEIZED

On Thursday May 5th, 2016, another of Crossville Narcotics Detective’s undercover investigations resulted in the execution of a search warrant and the seizure of currency, illicit narcotics and stolen property, in Crossville, TN.   Following an in-depth investigation and undercover operations, this latest seizure demonstrates the Crossville Police Department’s determination to eliminate illegal narcotics and the crimes associated with the drug trade, in and around our community.

 

With Thursday’s search warrant, Illegal Drugs, collectable coins and cash, as well as approximately $15,000 worth of stolen and illegal property, has been seized. A local Highway 70 North resident, who has been trafficking narcotics, was the target of the operation. Multiple felony narcotics charges are pending the outcome of the completed investigation and their presentation to the Cumberland County Grand Jury.

 

Participating in the operation were the Crossville Police Department, 13th Judicial Drug Task Force, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and the HIDTA / TBI Drug Task Force. A special thank you goes out to all agencies involved in the completion of this dangerous task.
