The Cumberland County Schools and County Education Committee is scheduled to meet Tuesday at 4pm at Stone Memorial High School library.

Even though the recent BOE vote to not renew DOS Billy Stepp’s contract is not on the agenda – there is a public comment time on the agenda.  To be clear, the Schools and Education committee has no authority over the BOE but a high turnout of the public to voice concerns over the BOE’s action would send a strong message to the county government and to the BOE either in favor of Stepp’s dismisall or against.
