The Tennessee Department of Agriculture is excited to announce that Santa Claus and his reindeer have been granted permission to enter Tennessee on December 24, 2023.

State Veterinarian Dr. Samantha Beaty has determined that the reindeer meet livestock entry requirements to deliver gifts statewide.

The team of dedicated veterinarians thoroughly examined records from the North Pole and found the reindeer to be in perfect health.

So, feel free to leave out treats for Santa and those hard-working reindeer on Christmas Eve.
