A Roane County woman has given an account of being attacked in West Knoxville last Friday.  Amber Burgess posted on her Facebook page that she is in pain and scared and very fortunate to have survived the attack.  Here is her post:

I was robbed and a man came up from behind me and slit my throat! It happened Friday in Knoxville and no they haven’t find the man that did this to me! I’m OK but in pain and scared!!!…..Thank u everyone for the prayers and given me support from u guys,that’s means so much,but please be careful in Knoxville I was the third person that was attacked,and they believe it’s the same guy.
