A Roane County Deputy says he personally witnessed a mother throw her 9-year-old son against a wall. According to the report, the officer was working a suspected child abuse case. When he arrived at the residence and was about to knock on the door, he looked through a window and saw Jessica Rudd abusing her son. The deputy also said in court that he also saw the woman strike the little boy about the head and shoulders. Rudd was taken into custody while the boy is currently staying with family members.
