Several news outlets have been publishing the story of The Price Is Right coming to Chattanooga.  Well it is true – partly.  While it’s true there is a touring show called “The Price Is Right Live” which travels to different  venues and produces a ‘private’ “Price Is Right” stage show,  it’s not the televised game show we watch on TV with host Drew Carey, but has a similar format and the prizes aren’t quite the premium winnings like the TV shows gives away.  The other big difference in the touring show is the cost of admission.  Television shows don’t charge for admission for the taping of shows such as TV version of  The Price Is Right.  However, the touring version of the show charges admission to get in to the show, from $29 to $89, unless you’re chosen to be a contest on the show from a random drawing before the show begins. If you do show up and register to be a potential contestant and are chosen, you’ll be taken to an open seat in the audience with no charge.  The traveling show promises a celebrity host but doesn’t say who it will be. The Price Is Right Live will also be in Johnson City TN in March. Tickets for the Chattanooga show go on sale on Monday, Dec. 9. Seats for the 8 p.m. show run from $29.50 to $89.50. LEARN MORE HERE
