On 6/24/2025 around 6:25 PM, the Dunlap Police Department responded to a plane crash on Ridge Rd in Dunlap. The plane was occupied by two people which were both injured in the incident.

Preliminary reports are that the pilot didnt survive. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board were both notified and will be conducting the investigation of the incident. Those agencies may release more information tomorrow. An officer will remain on scene to keep the scene secure until those agencies arrive tomorrow.
