PIT BULLS ATTACK, KILLS DOG BEING WALKED ALONG STREET – OWNER BITTEN SEVERAL TIMES

Police say the victim, Ron Pugh was walking his dog along Goldenbrook Drive in Brookhaven just outside Crossville when two pit bull dogs charged from a residence, crossed the street and attacked the mans dog.  Pugh tried fighting off the two pit bulls attacking his Miniature Schnauzer named Kiwi  to no avail.  Mr. Pugh received several bite wounds and his Schnauzer was killed in the attack.  Sources tell CNF that the two pit bulls (no specific breed of pit bull was identified) were owned by a woman who raises the breed for sale on that street identified as Seana Anderson.  A post on Seana’s Facebook page indicates one of the dogs had been let out of the kennel by someone apparently and the other dogs lead had been cut while she was at work.

After the attack,  Animal Control tried to approach the pit bulls owners residence.  One of the dogs was very aggressive and had to be put down by Animal Control.  The other dog was taken by AC and is awaiting a ruling by County Judge for further instructions. Sources tell us that Mr. Pugh had several stitches from the attack.  Reportedly Pugh had owned Kiwi for 14 years.
