PILOT IDENTIFIED IN FENTRESS COUNTY PLANE CRASH

An investigation into the plane crash in Fentress County near Crossville has resulted in the discovery of a dead body recovered from the crash site, as reported by Fentress County Emergency Management Agency Director James Bilbrey. The pilot is reported to have been the only one on board.  CNF has learned the pilot was 36 year old Joshua Hertz of Peachtree City Georgia. He departed Falcon Field in Peachtree City, we were told he took on fuel in Crossville, TN and continued toward Chicago which was his destination.  The plane was discovered in a remote wooded area of south Fentress County near Cumberland County line.    A gofundme account has been established to aid in Joshua’s family of wife and two young sons.
