ONE-THOUSAND NEW JOBS COMING TO PIKEVILLE, GOV. HASLAM ANNOUNCED TODAY

The Bledsonian Banner is reporting what may be the biggest news in this area in a while.  In the report, Governor Haslam has announced one-thousand new jobs are coming to Pikeville and Bledsoe County.

The governor joined state and local representatives in Pikeville Monday afternoon to announce that Textile Corp. of America is moving its headquarters into the old Dura building downtown.

The company will invest $27 million in Bledsoe County, the largest investment in the county’s history.
