One person was killed in a two-vehicle head-on collision in Pleasant Hill Friday. Authorities were called to the scene on Highway 70 West just after 12 noon where an SUV collided with a medium size car. According to reports, the driver of the car, a 77 year old man from Murfeesboro, had to be extricated from the vehicle. He reportedly died at the scene. The driver of the SUV, a 26 old local female, thought to be in late term pregnancy, was flown to UT Medical Center by Lifestar for treatment of several injuries. No names were released.
