Tennessee Department of Transportation spokesperson Mark Nagi said officials reopened one lane of I-40 East at Watt Road following a crash involving multiple vehicles Thursday morning.

The crash at mile marker 370 shut down all eastbound lanes at mile marker 370 for nearly 2 hours.

Drivers should expect delays near that section of interstate.  Thus far one person is reported to have died in the crash.
