A 31 year old man has died from the flash flooding Cumberland County received Thursday.  The  man, Dale E. Wilson, 31, was found inside his vehicle after he crashed his vehicle into a washout roadway off George Branch Drive in western Cumberland County just off Dripping Springs Rd. which runs off Hwy. 70 N. The location is north of Mayland. As you can see the road collapsed from the water. Trooper Seitner of the Tennessee Highway Patrol told CNF that Wilson was traveling at a high rate of speed when he came up on the washed out road, his vehicle flew over the sink hole and crashed into the embankment of the other side.  Rain was pouring down hard at the time of the accident and Mr. Wilson probably could not have seen the caved in road.
