NUDE WOMAN STANDS OUTSIDE HOUSE YELLING ALL NIGHT – ARRESTED

A 23-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after Cookeville police had to respond multiple times to her Walnut Avenue home Wednesday night and early on Thursday morning.

Reportedly Amanda May “been outside yelling, in the nude” and causing a disturbance.  Several officers had been to the address much earlier in the evening and other officers had gone back a second time earlier  because May had been causing a disturbance.

At that time, they had “told Ms. May to stay inside the house and go to bed.”

Durng the third call Ms. May was ordered to put clothing on multiple times before complying.

She was also asked for identification, which she presented to officers after retrieving it from her bedroom, the report says.

“After informing Ms. May that she was being placed under arrest for disorderly conduct, she became very combative,” Officer Fox reports.

It was necessary for officers to “forcibly place her under arrest by taking her to the ground,” the report says.

She was placed in the right rear of Officer Anthony Nash’s patrol car, where she “began banging her head on windows and screaming loudly,” Officer Fox reports.

“Officer Nash and I had to stop the vehicle several times in an attempt to control Ms. May. Officer [Kyle] Farley performed a drive stun with his taser on Ms. May because she refused to comply and keep her feet inside the vehicle so the door could be closed,” the officer’s report continues.

After the woman was booked at the Putnam County Jail, the officers discovered that she had presented them with a false identification with another person’s name on it.

“She was charged with criminal impersonation as well as disorderly conduct,” Officer Fox concludes in his report. (Herald Citizen)
