NOTHING SACRED: THIEVES BREAK INTO CHURCH, MAKE OFF WITH $2K IN EQUIPMENT, SNACKS

Over $2,000 worth of equipment was stolen from Liberty Baptist Church off Highway 127 North in Cumberland County sometime over last weekend.  Two guitars, a TV monitor, a music stand, even a baby crib and baby snacks were found missing early Sunday morning. The thieves broke in through a small window in the church building.  Sheriff Casey Cox said they have some leads on a suspect and was enraged over the whole incident telling a reporter “It’s about as low class of human being that you can possibly have, theft and burglary in itself is a pretty selfish crime. But you’ve had to hit a really low point in your life as a human being to decide to go break into a church.”
