The State has been burning off grass in the Catoosa area today which has caused concern by local residents.  We contacted the Cumberland County Fire Department who tells us this is an annual procedure conducted by the State of Tennessee to burn off grass in the region of north-west Cumberland County.  No alarm here…just the State with a controlled burn.
