There’s talk lately of possibly creating a Noise Ordinance in Cumberland County.  During the recent Environmental Committee meeting the topic of a noise ordinance was tossed around and some citizens spoke out for one.  Seems the idea has been sparked by residents on Sawmill Road in Cumberland County.  One resident of Deep Draw Road told us there are very loud vehicles that run up the road causing quite a bit of noise late at night.  There have also been several reports of numerous speeders along Highland Lane for the past couple of years creating noise. The noise ordinance topic was tabled by the Environmental Committee for a month.
