NEED A JOB? THURSDAY COULD BE YOUR LUCKY DAY

Crossville, TN– Today, Congressman Diane Black (R-TN-06) announced her upcoming 6th District job fair on Thursday, October 29th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cumberland County Community Complex, located at 1398 Livingston Road in Crossville. The event is set to include nearly twenty local employers and is open to the public. The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development’s “Career Coach” mobile center will also be on hand to provide jobseekers with access to computers, printing services, and résumé assistance. Black released the following statement:

“From my travels throughout our district, I know that there are still countless Tennesseans impacted by the Obama economy. The policies of the last seven years have made it harder for many to find a job and earn a steady paycheck. While we work to advance policies in Washington that will grow our economy and expand opportunity, I wanted to put together this job fair as a practical way to connect local job seekers with employers who are actively hiring right here in the Upper Cumberland. I am excited about the businesses that we have brought together and I believe this event will mark the start of many new beginnings and career success stories for individuals across our state,” said Congressman Diane Black.
