NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ALERT FOR TODAY: HEAT ADVISORY
The following heat advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service in Nashville for select counties in Middle Tennessee for today (Tuesday). The Morristown Service issued the same advisory for East Tennessee. You may notice Cumberland and other counties on the Plateau are not included in the advisory due to our elevation keeping the temperature and humidity slightly lower. However, those in Cumberland and other counties on the Plateau should take the same precautions as all the counties in the ‘advisory’.
