A man was shot in south Nashville Wednesday when he went to look at a car he’d seen advertised on Craigslist.

It happened at Bradford Woods apartment complex located at 5242 Edmondson Pike around 7:30 p.m.

Metro police said when the man arrived to view the car, three men approached him and attempted to rob him.

The victim tried to drive away and was shot in the arm.

He was able to drive himself to Southern Hills Medical Center. His injuries are believed to be non-critical.
